Is the BLOK lock suitable for my suitcase?
- Yes, the BLOK anti-theft device fits all your hard-shell suitcases if their diameter is less than or equal to 165 cm . Horizontally or vertically.
- No , if the diameter of your suitcase is greater than 165cm.
Can the lock damage my suitcase?
No , once installed, the back of the BLOK padlock is equipped with a patch that protects your suitcase and prevents scratches.
Why is it important that my name and contact details are clearly legible on my suitcase?
If by chance your suitcase looks suspicious under the scanner or to the watchful eye of a customs officer, they may try to contact you to inspect your suitcase with you. As a reminder, less than 2% of suitcases are checked.
Does the BLOK anti-theft device meet the US TSA* standard?
No, our lock is secure! TSA locks feature a universal opening system, originally intended for US customs officials, but whose master keys are now available online following a security breach.
Don't panic, the TSA standard only applies when you travel to the USA.
Can I travel with the BLOK lock in the USA?
Yes of course.
The only drawback is that our lock does not meet the US TSA standard for security reasons, so a US customs officer may be forced to break the lock if they are unable to check your suitcase with you. But rest assured, less than 2% of luggage is checked.
Why is the BLOK lock more relevant than suitcase straps?
The vast majority of suitcase straps are made of fabric and equipped with a TSA lock, which doesn't guarantee the security of your belongings.

J’avais pris l'habitude de wraper ma valise à l'aéroport pour mes voyages pro. Je viens de l'utiliser pour la première fois pour un A/R en Asie, super satisfaite du cadenas.
Testé sur ma valise, RAS. La sangle a l'air solide et difficile à couper. Le cadenas s'ajuste très bien à ma valise. Facile et rapide à installer. Très satisfait.
